Metochíou beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 49th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 134.7 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Paralia Metochiou settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

I really enjoy going to this beach! It's great that it's easily accessible, too. Even though I went at the end of July, there were hardly any other people there - just some locals and their families. The sand is nice and there are some small rocks here and there, but overall it's a great spot. Plus, the water is super clear!
