Achladies Beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 8th place out of 348 beaches in the Thessaly region 105.5 km away from its center, the city of Larissa. It is one of the beaches of Achladias settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Beautiful and sandy beach. It even has some great places to eat and dine at night. The one we discovered is called Octopus beach bar restaurant . It is local family owned. Many of apartments around the bay are family owned too.

The beach offers of a soft and velvety sand, with only a handful of pebbles scattered here and there. The water is not too shallow nor too deep, making it ideal for a leisurely swim. However, parents with young children may want to exercise caution. The area is thoughtfully furnished with comfortable deckchairs, providing ample space for relaxation. Additionally, there is a free area where visitors can soak up the sun and enjoy the serene surroundings.

The beach is absolutely delightful, with soft sand and crystal-clear water that beckons visitors to take a dip. The staff at the beachside restaurant are incredibly warm and welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable experience. However, it's unfortunate that a nearby hotel has claimed much of the beachfront for their private use, limiting public access to this beautiful stretch of coastline.
