Playa de la Caleta is located on the Alboran Sea and it is in the 17th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 51.6 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Nerja settlement, just 3.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa de la Caleta coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing, sea kayaking.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.
