The beach near Cádiz is an absolute paradise. The shoreline is breathtakingly lovely, with crystal clear waters and white sand. The scenery is simply stunning, and it's the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. The sunsets are magnificent, and it's a great spot to watch the stars come out at night. The area is tranquil and peaceful, and it's the ideal spot for a romantic getaway.
This spot is a great for those who want to keep their social distance - there's plenty of room to spread out. It's well-maintained and spotless, with showers and toilets for convenience. You can get there by car, with parking nearby, or take the bus. A great choice for a day of socially-distant fun.
That place is the perfect spot for a relaxing day in the sun. Stretching for around five kilometers, it connects Playa del Castillo in the south with Sanct Petri. The dark-colored sand is dotted with rocks and shells, but it is still clean. For refreshments, there is a chiringuito at the entrance with some shaded outdoor seating. There is also plenty of parking in a lot just a few minutes away. Be aware that the wind can create strong waves, particularly in May and October. Come soak up the sun and enjoy the waves with a big smile!
The last sign post said Dog Beach 250m, so my son, pup and I ventured through the entrance. We made our way down the boardwalk and onto the beach, but there were no directions indicating where the dog-friendly area began. After about 30 minutes of fun with other canine owners, a police officer on a quad came and asked us to move further up the beach. He was writing tickets to certain owners, but he was not too helpful. We kept walking, but he wanted us to go even further. In the end, we gave up and headed back home. It's a shame that such a long and gorgeous beach is advertised as dog-friendly, yet it's made impossible to enjoy.
