Playa el Chorrillo is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 37th place out of 135 beaches in the Malaga region 49 km away from its center, the city of Málaga. It is one of the beaches of Nerja settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal blue water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa El Chorrillo is the ultimate challenge for the brave and the bold. If you're looking for a beach experience that will truly test your mettle, this is the place to be. With its three small coves surrounded by high rocks, getting to Playa El Chorrillo is no easy feat. You'll have to brave the tide and climb over and through some rocks from Calahonda Beach, located next to the Balcón de Europa. If the tide is high, you may find yourself thwarted in your mission, but if you manage to make it, you'll be rewarded with a unique and unforgettable beach experience.

This secluded beach is located near the Nerja coastline and is a popular spot for visitors. It's small size makes it perfect for laying out towels and taking a dip in the ocean. There is a lifeguard on duty, as well as public showers to rinse off the saltwater. For those who wish to drive, parking is available nearby for 1.80 euros per hour. There is also a kiosk nearby for snacks and drinks. If you're looking for a beach to relax, this is a great spot to check out.

Playa el Chorrillo had three small sections tucked away between rocky cliffs. It was really nice and not too many people were there. Unfortunately, the area behind the beach was full of trash, and there were about 5-10 addicts and homeless people living there during the summer. One of them looked like a witch doctor, and the footpaths were filled with garbage and needles. As we passed by, we saw people snorting drugs off of credit cards.
