The beach was pleasant and sunny, with a beautiful blue hue on a perfect day. Although it wasn't a sandy beach, it was still a part of Boulder Bank. There were amenities such as seats, a playground, and toilets. It is located to the east of Nelson, offering a refreshing change of scenery.
Nelson's beach is the perfect spot for contemplation, leisurely walks with your furry friend or little ones. Every now and then, we've been fortunate enough to catch glimpses of dolphins, whales, and seals in this area. There's an abundance of seabirds and wildlife to observe. However, swimming can be a bit of a challenge due to the waves and rocks. It's worth noting that there are quite a few harmless stingrays present, as long as you give them their space. This beach is truly a hidden gem and one of the few exceptional locations in the world, making it a true treasure for Nelson.
This is a fantastic place to relax and there's a pleasant short stroll towards the rocky shore further down in the south.
It's a pleasant spot to unwind, where you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves crashing and the rocks tumbling.
The beach is nice and seems suitable for surfing, but not ideal for swimming.
