The beach has a really nice and spacious campground right by the sea. The caretaker does a great job of keeping the place clean and is very friendly. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try the cold showers!
This beach is a fantastic local spot that is loved by many for camping. I have been coming here regularly for 50 years, and let me tell you, I have quite a few stories to share, both good and not so good. Nevertheless, it remains an amazing place for everyone to have a great time.
During the peak of summer, this beach is incredibly popular and tends to get quite crowded. However, once the tourists depart, it still manages to provide the essentials at a minimal cost. The sunsets over Tasman Bay are absolutely breathtaking, and the evenings are perfect for enjoying a refreshing swim in the warm ocean. Additionally, there are nature walks in the surrounding area, and the beach is conveniently located near shops and a village. There is also a nice play area for children, picnic spots, and benches overlooking the beach. It is a bit disappointing that there are no functioning hot showers, but considering the potential increase in costs, it's understandable. However, you can always opt for a cold shower or bring your own solar shower and set it up in the shower cubicle.
For just $6, you can enjoy a pleasant camping experience right by the beach. The amenities include cold showers, drinking water, a children's playground, and a Manager who is incredibly friendly. Additionally, there are designated fire areas where you can safely have a bonfire.
