Kina Beach III is located on the Cook Strait (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 41th place out of 51 beaches in the Tasman region The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

This beach in New Zealand is a lovely spot to visit with friends and family, as well as your dog. There are opportunities for swimming and fishing, and it's easy to access with kayaks or portable boats.

The beach offers a pleasant walk that is enjoyable at any tide. You can walk in either direction and see plenty of sealife and interesting cliffs, as shown in the photos. It's best to swim during high tide. There are multiple parking areas available, as well as three cafes and a golf club nearby.

Kina Beach Recreation Reserve is situated on the foreshore of Kina Beach, just about two kilometers from State Highway 60 in Tasman. It's a lovely location nestled between Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson city.
