The beach in St Thomas may look stunning, but don't be fooled by its appearance. It's a secluded location, and you'll have to go out of your way to find it. There's a bar here, but it's only for the fishermen who frequent the area. So, if you're not a fisherman, there's not much for you to do here. The beach is not worth the effort to get there.
Rock Point beach, located at the eastern end of the island, boasts the finest white sand that I have ever laid eyes on. It has been a cherished destination for me since childhood, where I have frequented to purchase fresh fish and indulge in a refreshing sea bath. The beach's pristine beauty and serene atmosphere never fail to leave me in awe.
The beach is devoid of any litter and filth, making it a suitable spot for both family and friends to unwind and rejuvenate. The cherry on the cake is the availability of bars and a restaurant, which is sure to satiate your hunger and thirst.
The beach offers a breathtaking panorama of the opposite side of the bay, visible across the shimmering waters. The shoreline teems with crabs, making it an ideal spot for crab-catching enthusiasts. Moreover, local fishermen sell their fresh catches, providing visitors with an authentic culinary experience. Although it may seem isolated due to its distance from the town center, I believe it's a destination worth exploring, even if only once.
This serene beach offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While the sand may not be the finest, the water is crystal clear and calm. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty of nature.
