Bahia Principe Runaway Bay beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 20th place out of 105 beaches in the Jamaica region 80.2 km away from its center, the city of Kingston. It is one of the beaches of Salem settlement, just 4.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a spacious several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Bahia Principe Runaway Bay beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. Michael and Hinds were absolutely fantastic. The food service and hospitality were outstanding, making it the best service in the entire hotel. Garfield went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time while also protecting us from being taken advantage of. If you visit, be sure to seek out these three individuals.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a "Romantic Dinner" on the beach, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The service, food, and overall atmosphere were exceptional. Akeem and Brandon, our waiters, were incredibly professional, polite, attentive, and made our romantic dinner on the beach an absolute delight. If you happen to stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe in Jamaica, I highly recommend treating yourself to a romantic dinner on the beach. We are already looking forward to returning in the future!

I highly recommend Shae for any guest's needs, even if they are extremely last minute. Overall, the staff was devoted and made my experience truly amazing.

The resort is internationally friendly and offers a stunning and well-maintained view. The compound provides plenty of space. However, there could be more day activities available. The front desk staff could benefit from emotional intelligence training. On the other hand, the restaurant and buffet workers are exceptional and truly enhance the experience. Additionally, the pool is fantastic.

We had a torch lit dinner on the beach, which was truly a memorable experience that I will cherish forever. The staff members, Ackeem, Michael, and Hines, were absolutely fantastic to interact with. They provided exceptional service and were incredibly kind. I highly recommend both this resort and the torch lit dinner on the beach. Additionally, there are plenty of exciting excursions and activities to enjoy. Jamaica and its people are truly remarkable!
