We visited this place specifically to access their ATM. The beach was fantastic and the locals were extremely friendly. We made sure to show our support to the vendors. It was interesting to discover that the place was locally owned. The rooms were charming little buildings, each painted in different colors, and it seemed like a place I would consider staying at on my next visit.
The rooms have all been renovated and are quite nice. The food is alright, but it seems to cater more towards tourists. The wait service can be quite slow, and the wifi tends to shut off at 8pm, so it's a good idea to have some phone credit. The manager and night concierge are great at communicating. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located for exploring shops and enjoying the nightlife.
This place was not one of my preferred choices for a family vacation. The rooms are decent, but some of them have a fruit fly problem due to their proximity to the mango tree. The service at the restaurant is terrible. One morning, we waited for an hour and forty-five minutes for breakfast, even though there were only about 6-7 occupied tables and it wasn't busy. It's completely absurd. The food is below average. The beach is alright, but there are sea urchins that pricked my son and husband's feet. There are no warnings about this anywhere. They charge $7 for beach chair pads and an umbrella, which is absolutely ridiculous! The bright lantern lights outside make it difficult to sleep. There is no onsite parking, so if you have a rental car, you're out of luck. We ended up cutting our stay at this hotel one day short because it became too much to handle with the fruit flies, long wait times at the restaurant, and the sea urchin situation on the beach. They don't even have a pool! I cannot recommend this place to anyone. We will never return. There are other hotel options available in the area.
I approached the gate attendant to inquire about the availability of iced lattes. He assured me that they could fulfill any coffee request I had. Although the coffee was satisfactory, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Having hot coffee poured over ice simply doesn't compare. Nevertheless, the server was friendly and accommodating.
I stayed at this charming villa for a few days during our visit to Negril. It fulfilled all the necessary requirements. The room was spacious and tidy, equipped with a microwave and refrigerator (which was fantastic). The staff was kind and attentive. By staying at this delightful boutique, you have access to beach chairs, cushions, and umbrellas. This boutique also features a bar and restaurant on-site, conveniently located right on the beach. The beach is well-maintained and pristine. The water is tranquil, and they even have a small floating trampoline for children. I would definitely choose to stay here again, as the price was reasonable and it was easy to explore Negril from this location.
