The cost may be a tad high as there is an additional charge for admission along with renting a chair and an umbrella, but the staff is amicable. The beach is stunning and incredibly accessible as we were situated directly in front of it. The sand is pristine and the ocean is an absolute dream!
This beach is truly a wonder with its immaculate, pristine sand that stretches out for miles. The water is so clear that you can see every detail of the underwater world, and it's delightfully warm and refreshing. However, it's important to be cautious when walking along the shoreline as we were surprised to come across a Caribbean Whiptail Stingray that was cleverly camouflaged beneath the sand. It was an incredible sight, but a reminder to always tread carefully. One of the unique features of this beach is the opportunity to witness planes taking off and landing from the nearby airport, adding an exciting element to the already breathtaking scenery.
On the day we visited, the beach was bustling with people, and we had to pay an additional fee for chairs and umbrellas. However, the stunning landscape never fails to impress, and we were lucky enough to witness flights arriving in nearby Mo Bay. Smoking is prohibited on the beach, and we parked at a hotel just a short 5-minute walk away. Despite the crowds, we still found the beach to be enjoyable, especially with the convenience of a bar on site. The only downside was the steep price of cocktails, which were around £10 each. Compared to other areas we had explored on the island, we found the prices in this particular area to be quite high.
The beach is immaculately kept, providing a serene atmosphere for visitors. For a reasonable fee of $30, two individuals can gain access to loungers and an umbrella. The restroom and changing areas are satisfactory, and the staff members are attentive to the needs of guests. The food offered is of high quality and enjoyable. The water trampolines add an element of excitement and entertainment to the experience. Overall, I give this beach a rating of 8 out of 10 and would highly recommend it.
The beach is a pleasant spot to spend a day with a $6 USD entrance fee and additional charges for beach chairs and umbrellas. Our visit in October 2021 was enjoyable, with a serene atmosphere and no overcrowding. A few vendors were present, offering coconuts and other refreshments. However, it is important to note that alcohol is prohibited on the beach.
