Mahee Bay beach

This place is absolutely incredible! The staff is fantastic! From the front desk to the housekeeping, food service, and entertainment, everyone was exceptional. There was never a dull moment at all! The individuals who truly brought my husband and me out of our comfort zone were JOHNNY BRAVO, SPIDERMAN, SPARK N THE DARK, and STAR FIRE! Remember those names because they are the most outstanding entertainers ever. Riu Palace, please make sure to take good care of them so they can be there when we return. Also, Paul, Audley, and Monica took great care of us every day during meal and snack times. There are so many activities to do both around and within the hotel, so there's no need for external excursions.

I had an amazing time during my stay at this beach! There are plenty of activities to enjoy, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's highly recommended to download the app for reserving restaurants. Keep in mind that this place is bustling with entertainment, so it may not be ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat. However, if you're looking for excitement, adventure, and non-stop activities, this is the perfect spot! And that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm definitely coming back here again, without a doubt!

I stayed at this beach for a week last month to celebrate a relative's Birthday, after previously staying at the Riu Reggae in November. In my opinion, the only notable difference between the two places, considering the price difference, is that the Palace offers room service. If you are seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, you will definitely find it here. However, it is important to note that this hotel does not live up to its claim of being a 5-star resort. I have stayed at many 5-star resorts, and this one does not compare. A 5-star resort should offer luxury, but the Palace falls short in this aspect. The rooms are in need of several upgrades to match a 5-star rating. The room I stayed in was quite average, with uncomfortable beds. Additionally, our group had a room next to ours that had a privacy curtain for the bathroom area, while ours did not. Furthermore, the sofa in our room was dirty and sank low to the floor. When comparing my stay at the Palace to my stay at the Riu Reggae, the latter was much better. The grounds at the Reggae were clean and well-maintained. The staff at all of the Riu Properties, including the Reggae, are clearly well-trained and always stand out as the highlight of any stay.

The beach was amazing, the staff was fantastic, and the food was incredible. Everything was perfect until I accidentally fell into one of the small pools near the bar restaurant. However, I was disappointed with the response from the staff on duty. As a senior, I had to request to see a nurse, but the medical staff showed a lack of sensitivity towards my needs. I felt that as a guest, I should have received better treatment. Unfortunately, I had to cut my vacation short due to the discomfort and pain I experienced.

The staff truly made our holiday unforgettable. The beach was impeccably clean, and every member of the staff provided exceptional service without ever stopping. The entertainment was fantastic, and the food quality was outstanding. If you ask for top shelf drinks, they will gladly serve them to you. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to rebook for a three-week stay next year.
