We highly recommend this beach as it is truly exceptional. The unique feature of black sand mixed with pebbles adds to its charm.
This beach is a true gem, with its stunning beauty and serene atmosphere. It's unlike any other beach I've ever visited, boasting crystal clear waters that are only waist deep and a vast expanse of soft sand that extends over 50 meters out. The sea is incredibly tranquil, making it perfect for swimming and relaxing. You'll be pleased to know that there are several tavernas in the area that offer sun loungers to their customers, and we never had trouble finding one during our five-day stay. The overall ambiance of this beach is incredibly peaceful, with the sound of cicadas mingling with the rustling of palm trees. It's truly a slice of paradise that you won't want to miss.
The beach is quite pristine with crystal-clear and safe waters. It boasts a plethora of dining and drinking options, but not much in terms of activities. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed its serene and unassuming ambiance.
Although not my preferred beach on the island, this beach is still quite beautiful. Kefalonia has an abundance of stunning beaches, so this one may not make the top of the list, but it's still worth a visit. Families will appreciate the calm and shallow waters that extend far out. Additionally, the beach is accompanied by the charming and traditional resort of Katelois, which boasts delightful shops, cafes, and restaurants.
The beach is sandy and gradually descends into the ocean, with the water only reaching waist-deep 100 feet out. It is fairly exposed and there are some attractive restaurants and tavernas in the harbor area. Many of these establishments provide complimentary sun loungers and parasols for their patrons, so you can choose a spot and enjoy food and drinks all day long. However, the prices are not the most affordable.
