Lefka beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 272th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 181.9 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Platies settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and black sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The scenery of this shoreline is truly magnificent, however, it should be noted that it is not the renowned Koroni beach. The path leading to this beach can only be accessed with a 4x4 vehicle, and it has been reported that the road was closed at one point. It is strongly advised that individuals do not attempt to travel to this beach with a standard car.
