The beach is truly lovely, and it's worth noting that the sand is a beautiful shade of brown.
The stunning beach, conveniently located near Kateleios, boasts an array of sun loungers available for a mere 7 euros for two, complete with an umbrella for shade. Families with children will find this beach perfect, as the crystal-clear water is shallow enough to wade in for several hundred yards. Swimming, snorkeling, or simply drifting along are all fantastic options in these pristine waters. Additionally, a cozy Teverna and cafe are situated just steps from the beach, and parking is readily available.
If you're in search of a sandy beach, this is the ideal spot to visit, although I personally preferred Skala. The beach gradually slopes into the sea, making it a safe option for children. Additionally, there is a bar and restaurant nearby, as well as sunbeds for those who want to relax.
In early August, the beach was sparsely populated with only about 30 people. Two sun loungers with a table and parasol cost 8 euros. Parking was easy with direct access to the beach. The nearby hotel offered drinks and other amenities. The gentle slope into the sea seemed to stretch on endlessly, and the water was pleasantly warm. Despite my lack of swimming skills, I felt comfortable spending hours in the sea. The sand was incredibly soft, with hardly any pebbles in sight. Although there were no showers, it was a peaceful and uncrowded beach.
The beach is a long stretch of fine brown sand that lives up to its hype. It's the perfect spot to unwind and let go of all your thoughts while the waters wash away your stresses. However, it's best to stick to the main roads when getting there as the recommended goat track by Google turned out to be a rough and rocky ride. Once you arrive, there's a canteen and a restaurant on the beach. The food at the restaurant is delicious and well-presented, but it comes with a higher price tag. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit at least once.
