Mpournias beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 317th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 158.4 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Agios Merkourios settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Mpournias beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long.

The parking space is quite limited and you may need to walk a bit on the sand to find a good spot near the rocks. However, the beach offers plenty of fresh air and crashing waves.
