Kalami beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 76th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 159.9 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Korasida settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

But don't worry, getting there is also a workout - the 200-meter descent takes about 15-20 minutes, adding an extra element of exercise to your day. The only challenge is finding this hidden gem, but the reward is well worth the effort.

Be cautious when following Google's directions to reach this beach as the suggested route may lead you to a dead end, resulting in a one-hour detour to get back on track. To avoid any inconvenience, input the destination coordinates of 38.5031827, 24.2008280. Unfortunately, Google's directions let me down this time. Although I had high hopes for this beach, I was unable to fully experience it due to the navigational mishap. As a result, I can only give it a three-star rating, but it may have been better if I had arrived without any issues.

This stunning beach is a true gem, although the path to get there is a bit challenging, with a steep downhill trail surrounded by lush bushes, wild oregano, flowers, and olive trees. However, this rugged terrain only adds to the charm of this idyllic location. Unfortunately, Google Maps can be misleading, directing visitors to the nearby Katigistri beach instead of the correct route to Oktonia. You'll need to keep an eye out for an old and somewhat faded sign at the crossroad, indicating the right direction. The road to the beach is accessible, despite Google's claim that there is a section without a road. You'll encounter some parts of the route that are paved, while others are gravel, but even a modest Renault Clio 2 can handle the journey with ease. The beach itself is breathtaking, with an array of colorful pebbles that are sure to captivate your senses.

Ah, the elusive hidden beach. It's a real gem, but good luck finding it by car. The roads are so narrow, bumpy, and dusty, it's like navigating a minefield. And if you're brave enough to attempt reaching it on foot, make sure you're dressed for the occasion - mountain shoes and long trousers are a must. But once you finally arrive, it's all worth it. The beauty of this beach is truly unparalleled.
