For a daily parking fee of €6, you'll receive two complimentary cold coffees, but you'll need to pay extra for water. Two sun beds with an umbrella can be rented for €10, but the staff, particularly the young bar girl, aren't particularly welcoming. Ordering takes a while, and it takes another 15 minutes for your order to be prepared. The beach bar and hotel aren't particularly noteworthy, but arriving by sea with kayaks or a boat for swimming is acceptable.
In my humble opinion, the beach in Pelion reigns supreme. The parking situation at Eden Hotel is a steal at a mere 6 euros. The beach itself is spacious enough to avoid any unwanted closeness with fellow beach-goers, and boasts a delightful mixture of small pebbles and sand. The water is a sight to behold on sunny days, with a breathtaking turquoise hue. If you venture to the left side of the beach, you'll find some rocks that form a pool, perfect for a refreshing swim or daring jump. And if you're in need of some respite from the scorching sun, fear not - there's plenty of natural shade to be found.
This stunning beach is a sight to behold, with crystal clear waters and soft, white sand. However, the noise level from the nearby bar can be quite overwhelming and detract from the peaceful atmosphere. It's important to note that there is a small fee of 3€ per person for entrance, which also covers parking for the entire day. Despite the noise, this beach is definitely worth a visit for its breathtaking beauty.
The beachside is truly magnificent. It's quite challenging to decide which one to pick between Plaka and Papa Nero. It's highly recommended to explore both as they both have unique features to offer. If you're traveling solo, it's best to park your car in Agios Ioannis and take a stroll down to Plaka through a scenic path. I would definitely suggest visiting this beach to anyone in the vicinity.
This beach is an absolute gem, equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, including convenient shower facilities and a variety of food options. The waves are just the right size for an enjoyable time and the opportunity for snorkeling is simply unbeatable. As an added bonus, I even had the pleasure of encountering a praying mantis during my visit, which was a truly unique experience.
