Pitsunda beach is located on the Black Sea and it is in the 6th place out of 31 beaches in the Abkhazia region 23.2 km away from its center, the city of Gudauta. It is one of the beaches of Pitsunda settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Pitsunda beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Are you kidding me? The monument to divers is a symbol of Pitsunda! Sure, there's a fee to enter - it helps protect the pine grove from cars, but now pedestrians have to pay too? They asked me for 50 rubles. Not a huge amount, but it makes you wonder... It seems like the security guards at the barrier are making a pretty penny off this initiative. Locals suggested I play it cool and claim to be a local worker to avoid the fee. 😳🤔🙄 Just keep moving calmly and freely. The monument is situated in a stunning location, to say the least. However, like many places in Abkhazia, it's a reminder of the USSR's decay - everything is falling apart. The monument has been vandalized and there are flowers planted around it.

This beach is absolutely stunning. There are cafes and small shops nearby, and the pier is a great spot for a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. Free sun loungers are available on the beach, and there is Wi-Fi access near the buildings. The entrance to the sea is covered in pebbles, so it's best to wear appropriate footwear for a more comfortable experience.
