We come to this beach for its serene atmosphere and natural surroundings. The service and rooms may not be exceptional, but considering it's Abkhazia, we don't expect much. However, the peacefulness and tranquility make it an ideal place to unwind with children.
Personally, I find everything to my liking. Although it may be a bit crowded, the beach is well-maintained and tidy. The buffet is decent, but the quality of the meat products leaves much to be desired.
Pension Myussera is likely best suited for older individuals or families with young children. It offers a stunning view, a delightful pool, and three buffet meals per day. However, there are no shops within walking distance, except for a small tent selling water, chips, and wine. The markets can only be accessed by car, which costs 500 rubles, and they are quite far away. Additionally, there are no fruits, medicines, or pharmacies available nearby, and the excursions tend to be expensive. The rooms have outdated furniture and lack conveniently placed outlets, so it's advisable to bring an extension cord. The beach consists of sharp pebbles, making it unrealistic to walk on without proper footwear. On the bright side, there is fantastic entertainment throughout the day, and many sections of the building are currently undergoing renovations. Overall, the experience at Pension Myussera leaves mixed impressions. However, the natural surroundings are truly incredible!
The location of the place is good, but it is quite far from the center. If you want to buy fruit, you will need to pay for a minibus from the boarding house, which costs 500 rubles per person, and it will take you 12 km to reach the market. We stayed in a deluxe room, which is quite far from the main building, but the room itself is spacious and has a balcony. The staff doesn't clean or change the linens unless you inform them about it. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the pool is not well-maintained. The beach is nice, but during rainy days, there is a nearby river and kapets that bring dirt and branches into the sea, which affects the cleanliness of the beach. The food is good and there is plenty of it, although the only fruit available are apples. If you want to buy wine, be aware that the prices are higher compared to Pitsunda. Overall, this place can be quite nerve-wracking, but it's perfect for elderly people with grandchildren. You won't find a better place to entertain yourself. Good luck!
The beach is absolutely amazing with a perfect natural setting and location, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. Although the building reflects a Soviet Era design, it does have the convenience of hot water.
