It is one of the beaches of Mtsvane Kontskhi settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

During our visit to Batumi's beach, we opted to drive our own car while the locals preferred taxis. The water was crystal clear and the surrounding vegetation was lush and vibrant. The Botanical Garden was in close proximity, and we found a variety of cafes and drink tents nearby. The pier and rocky coast were stunning, and we encountered a small number of tourists, mostly locals. Although it's recommended to visit Sarpi beach, it's located in a completely different direction.

The pebbled shoreline is dotted with charming beachside cafes and offers the option to rent comfortable loungers. A modern pier has been erected above the older one, providing an excellent vantage point to take in the stunning Batumi skyline. Unfortunately, the waters of the Black Sea in this area are not as pristine as one would hope, but the beach itself is pleasantly uncrowded.
