The beach was incredibly stunning, with pristine cleanliness and perfectly temperate water on that particular day. It was a special experience for my dogs as they got to explore the sea for the very first time. Although dogs were not permitted on the beach, I wasn't informed about it, and since my dogs were clean, there was no cause for concern. Overall, it was a delightful vacation in Marennes.

The beach offers a delightful body of water, providing a beautiful view of the Arvert peninsula. It is a popular destination for families who enjoy the sandy beaches. However, this year, a question arises as to why the beloved bouncy castle, which brought joy to the little ones, and the charming guinguette, where we used to relax with a refreshing drink or ice cream, have both disappeared.

This beach is well-known and always has water, even during low tide, thanks to the formation of a sand bank. During the peak season, there is also a designated area with lifeguards. Additionally, it is conveniently located near local restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food like crepes and ice cream. There is also an inflatable play area for children to have fun. However, it is worth noting that the lagoon only appears on Google maps in satellite mode, and hopefully, Google will update the default view in the future.
