The waves are too rough for swimming, but perfect for surfers. Some days, the sand is too firm to relax on. On Monday, the local authorities were drilling nearby all morning.

I really enjoyed this beach, the waves are great for surfing. The currents can be strong but not too dangerous. There are cold showers available for surfers, but anyone can use them. The walk along the beach is beautiful and continues on to the next beach, which I also loved. I highly recommend this beach, it's better than the central beaches in Biarritz.
