Plage de la Giraudiere is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 20th place out of 52 beaches in the Charente-Maritime region 35.4 km away from its center, the city of La Rochelle. It is one of the beaches of Le Grand-Village-Plage settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Plage de la Giraudiere coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The beach boasts a spacious expanse, great for catching some waves, and even has a snack bar. Plus, parking is free! Just be sure to arrive early as spots tend to fill up quickly.
