Arcachon Beach is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 15th place out of 27 beaches in the Gironde region 50.3 km away from its center, the city of Bordeaux. It is one of the beaches of Arcachon settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.
