The beach offers a stunning view and a tranquil atmosphere, attracting a diverse range of people. Additionally, there are numerous food and drink options available from street vendors. The only drawback is the presence of dirt on the sandy beach.

Barra de Guaratiba Beach

This is the final beach you can explore along the Rio de Janeiro coastline. The sea was tranquil during our visit, and we enjoyed a full day there. We opted for an Uber ride, which made parking a non-issue. The rental rates for chairs and umbrellas were affordable, as were the nearby restaurants.

Grumari Beach

This beach is really great, although the middle of the sea can be a bit rough. I suggest sticking to the right side of the beach, near the rocks, where the water is a bit more calm. Plus, there's a convenient car park nearby.

Macumba Beach

When I retire, this is the place I want to be! The beach boasts of golden fine sand, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind.

Recreio Beach

We visited the beach in November and found it to be a captivating destination. The favela's vibrant and bustling narrow streets are situated right alongside upscale hotels and apartments, creating an intriguing contrast.
