Abrico Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 71th place out of 375 beaches in the Rio de Janeiro region 34.6 km away from its center, the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the beaches of Aracatiba settlement, just 4.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

As I set foot on the sandy shores of the nude beach, I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded me. The beach area was simply stunning, with crystal clear waters and powdery white sand that stretched as far as the eye could see. Despite being fairly empty on the day of my visit, the serene ambiance of the beach made me feel like I had the whole world to myself. It was a truly magical experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. If you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then this beach is definitely worth a visit.

This beach used to be nice, but now it's getting washed away by the relentless forces of coastal erosion. Instead of lounging on the soft sand, you'll find yourself perched on uncomfortable rocks. The only saving grace is the clean water and laid-back vibe. If you manage to make it to the end of the beach, there's a small bar with a BBQ and beach chairs for rent. But don't get too attached, because who knows how much longer this beach will even exist.

Throughout the week, this serene and relaxed naturist beach offers the perfect opportunity to soak up the sun, unwind on the sandy shores, and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters in your birthday suit. Be prepared to leave with a sun-kissed glow from head to toe. However, it's worth noting that some older gentlemen may occasionally cause a nuisance by cruising around. On weekends, the beach transforms into a bustling hub for the LGBTQ+ community, where people are welcoming and accepting of all.
