It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is top-notch, with serene surroundings and stunning views, particularly at low tide. Don't forget to pack some insect repellent to deter the occasional horsefly.

The beach offers impressive facilities and a pleasant atmosphere, yet the water temperature is notably chilly and the pebbles can be unpleasant underfoot. Along the shoreline, you'll find a picturesque dune formation sculpted by the wind, which is a common sight in coastal and desert regions. Additionally, there are opportunities for hiking in the nearby area, including a trail leading to the lighthouse. For those looking to stay overnight, RV campsites are available and campfires are permitted. It's worth noting that parking fees apply until 5:00 PM.

Our initial plan was to explore the Sandy Neck Lighthouse, but upon discovering that a dune buggy was required, we opted for a leisurely stroll to capture the mesmerizing beauty of the surroundings. The tranquil ambiance and awe-inspiring vistas made for a truly rejuvenating experience.
