The beach offers fantastic scenery and a wide selection of delicious beers. Unfortunately, the food trucks were closed on a Saturday morning. It is advisable to purchase your tickets in advance. The beach provides both pleasant outdoor seating and comfortable indoor options.
The beer was fantastic! The lobster roll food truck was equally amazing! The view was also enjoyable! To be honest, the beer was exceptionally great. However, the ticketing system was ridiculously confusing - I misunderstood that the tickets were valid for the same day and wasted time searching for a specific date. It was my mistake. It seemed absurd to require tickets on a Wednesday afternoon, but considering the outstanding beer and the incredible atmosphere, I can understand why. Don't miss out on this fantastic place, go and experience it!
This place is terrible. The bouncer only wants you to purchase their beer online, and they make it difficult to have a conversation about beer or make a purchase. I've never had such a negative experience at a brewery before. It got to the point where I gave up and exchanged my tickets for some to-go drinks. Despite having enjoyed their beers in the past, I was excited to visit the brewery and buy directly from them. However, the whole process was a headache, the staff was rude, and the interior was freezing. Nobody seemed interested in helping me buy beer; they just insisted on buying it online. I thought I might be the only one feeling this way until I witnessed the same interaction happen to someone else right after me. The bouncer seemed annoyed by any attempt to ask questions about purchasing their product. On a positive note, the interior reminded me of a scene from the movie Burnt, where Bradley Cooper compared a restaurant's interior to a theme of stoning infidels. It strangely fit well with this place. I don't have any issues with the beer itself, but this place is just awful.
We visited this beach on Sunday and Monday after having positive experiences at the Deerfield and Charleston locations. On Sunday, we had a great time and were able to navigate the ticketing system that others had complained about, which had worried us. While we didn't encounter many problems, we did notice that there were quite a few rules and a lot of instructions on where to stand, which others have also mentioned. On the plus side, the beach is dog friendly and offers an amazing view. The beer selection was great, although they had fewer draft options compared to other locations. We parked in the beach lot on Sunday because it was free. When we returned on Monday, the beach lot was charging $20, so we decided to park in front of a house a block away, along with several other cars heading to the brewery. There were no signs indicating no parking. However, when we finished at the brewery and tried to access our cars, homeowners were blocking our way, calling us privileged and drunks, despite us only having one beer and one mocktail that day. They shouted at us and even pushed us. We believed we were allowed to park there as there were no signs prohibiting it (although some signs did exist, they were pointing in the opposite direction). Unfortunately, when I tried to contact the brewery to inform them about the situation and warn other customers who had also parked there, I couldn't reach a person on the phone. UPDATE: I reached out to the brewery via email and received a call back on the same day. They expressed their concern about the behavior of the locals and assured me that they would inform other brewery guests about the situation.
After years of wondering if the Cape spot is worth it, I finally managed to visit this beach. The setup is similar to their other locations, and fortunately, it wasn't crowded yet on a Friday, so we didn't encounter some of the issues that others have mentioned. The beer is undeniably excellent, and the location is fantastic. It's a perfect first stop when heading onto the Cape. However, I wouldn't suggest trying the food truck, especially the tacos. They were decent, but not worth $12 for just two tacos. I would have preferred if they offered their own food inside, which we unfortunately discovered too late.
