The beach exudes a sense of comfort, and it comes with the added perk of a complimentary pass to five other beaches if visited on the same day. However, it should be noted that a considerable amount of walking is required to reach the velvety sand bottom of the ocean. This may not be the ideal beach for young children. Personally, I prefer Craigville beach as it offers a more enjoyable experience.
The sight of deceased horseshoe crabs scattered along the beach raises questions as to why they were left unattended. The lack of nourishment for these creatures is concerning and prompts further investigation.
The beach offers a picturesque sight, however, the quality of the beach is not up to the mark. There is an abundance of seaweed, no facilities are available, and the water does not appear to be clean. To add insult to injury, the beach charges $30.00 for entry. It is advisable to opt for Craigville Beach instead.
This charming little beach is an absolute gem. Despite visiting on a Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't overrun with people. The walk from the parking lot to the beach was a breeze, and we were thrilled to discover clean bathroom facilities. The water was delightfully warm and tranquil, with no disruptive waves to speak of. I'm already looking forward to my next visit - this beach is a true hidden treasure!
Although the beach is relatively small, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the water was quite warm and there were some beautiful sea shells scattered along the shore. The sand, while a little rough, was much smoother closer to the water's edge.
