The town beach is wheelchair accessible and provides a safe and clean environment.
I'm so lucky to have this beach nearby! The water is crystal clear when it's calm, and the sand is nice and soft. Occasionally, the tide brings in some shells, but that's no big deal. It's a really peaceful spot, with a couple of restaurants nearby and a playground and splash pad across the street for the kids. I absolutely love it there, and I make a point of going every day in the summer to get some exercise in the water.
The beach was clean and had a few shells scattered around. It was pleasantly quiet without any loud music blasting. It does cost $35 to park if you're not a local, which seems reasonable, but a tad bit expensive. The water was refreshing for a quick swim, and they had a splash pad for little ones, making it a great spot for families. However, the only restroom option available was a port a potty. Luckily, there was a nice restaurant just across the street for lunch or dinner.
The beach was absolutely stunning! It was peaceful and not too crowded. The only downside was the parking fee of $35.00. However, I managed to find street parking a few blocks away and the walk was definitely worth it. 😊
This is one of my favorite spots and we make an effort to visit frequently. The picnic area is fantastic and the nearby playground is always kept in good condition. Unfortunately, parking is limited to residents only but it is conveniently located.
