Silver Sands Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 25th place out of 49 beaches in the Connecticut region 59.9 km away from its center, the city of Hartford. It is one of the beaches of South End settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a straight coastline with blue water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The location looked great, and the majority of the staff were pleasant. However, the food was terrible. I wouldn't eat there again even if someone paid me to. The Penny alvodka with mixed vegetables and sausage and peppers were particularly disappointing. I might consider going back, but only if I could bring my own food.
