Croyde Beach is located on the Celtic Sea (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 8th place out of 78 beaches in the Devon region The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Croyde Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

The beach is absolutely beautiful, with its pristine cleanliness and the added bonus of being a great spot to watch surfers. Additionally, the beach boasts golden sand that adds to its overall charm.

This Devon beach is stunning, similar to Woolacombe but on a smaller scale. It features golden sand and also has some lovely tidal pools for young children to splash around in if they're not confident swimmers.

This North Devon beach is truly stunning, offering convenient amenities such as toilets, shops, a cafe, and a coffee stand. It's a surfer's paradise, although the wind can be quite strong. Additionally, there are fantastic sand dunes that children will love to explore.

This beach is perfect for surfers, but even if you're not into surfing, it's still a great place to visit. The sand is clean and well-maintained, making it easy to walk on. You can also find plenty of sticks for your dog to play with. However, be aware that poo bins are only available at the north end of the beach and on some paths from the village. If you're looking for facilities like toilets, bars, and cafes, you'll need to head to the far north end of the beach. There are no facilities towards the south. But, there are plenty of paths that lead to and from the beach, so you can plan a short or long walk. While there is a lifeguard service, it's not available at all times. Be sure to check the noticeboards on entry and follow the advice given, especially if you plan on surfing or bathing. The waves here are stronger than at your average holiday location. Parking is available nearby, but you can also park in the village and enjoy a 10-minute stroll or walk from your B&B. It's important to note that this beach can get very crowded on weekends and during the height of summer, so it's best to avoid those times if possible. April and September are the best times to visit.
