If you have trouble with your balance or have a stroller, reaching this beach might be a bit challenging. It's advisable to wear appropriate footwear. Nevertheless, the beach is situated in a charming village with plenty of sights to see, and the locals are exceptionally welcoming.
I had a great time at Clovelly beach and would love to visit again. It's worth mentioning that the beach has gray pebbles, which adds to its unique charm.
The beach is quite rocky and presents a challenge to access. In fact, the only way to reach it is by walking through the popular tourist spot, Clovelly High Street. The street itself is charming with its cobbled surface, but it is also quite steep and not recommended for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs.
The beach can only be accessed via a steep, cobbled path that may be difficult for those with disabilities or strollers. A permit is required to drive down, but if you prefer not to walk back up the hill, there is a land rover service available for £2.50 per adult that will take you back to the gift shop. The views on the way down are stunning, but it's important to wear appropriate footwear. We opted for the land rover service, which had its final run at 1530.
The beach, which is adorned with gray pebbles, is located in a charming village that boasts of well-preserved cottages. It is truly a sight to behold for any nature lover.
