Playa de Limodre is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 93th place out of 178 beaches in the A Coruña region 67 km away from its center, the city of Santiago de Compostela. It is one of the beaches of Malata settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Playa de Limodre coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

This tiny beach in Limodre is the perfect spot for a relaxing day by the sea. With its white sand, lack of waves, and abundance of shells and stones, it's a great place to soak up the sun in summer and find some shade under the trees and rocks.

This beach near Malata offers a tranquil and picturesque experience, nestled at the foot of a forest in a beautiful natural setting. It is narrow and boasts stunning rock formations, making it an ideal spot for taking photos. wheelchair accessible and while there is limited parking, it is easy to access. The water is also warmer than on other open sea beaches. Boats can often be seen anchored nearby or crossing the estuary, adding to the atmosphere. In late July, a Viking party is held here that attracts a large amount of people. It is reminiscent of Alicante de Ferrol and is highly recommended for anyone looking for a day of relaxation, with the option of having a drink at the bar or dining in the shade of its vineyards, hiking through the Fragas del Eume or visiting the nearby fishing village of Pontedeume.
