Vao Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 35th place out of 187 beaches in the Pontevedra region 28.7 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of Priegue settlement, just 4.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A sight to behold - the water is pristine and inviting, the temperature is perfect for a dip, and there's no wind to ruin the moment. Access is easy, making it a great destination for a day trip. All in all, it's a great place to spend some time, but don't expect to be alone.

This beach near Priegue in Vigo is an absolute paradise! The sand is as white and soft as can be, and the shoreline is miles long, perfect for taking a leisurely stroll. The water is shallow, which makes it ideal for wading and relaxing. I had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to unwind. This is definitely my favorite beach I've visited - I'm looking forward to going back soon!

We were delighted to find that the reviews we had read on Google were accurate. The beach was beautiful and the restaurant had an excellent atmosphere. The service and views were great, and the seafood was incredibly fresh and simply cooked. Prices were also very reasonable. It was quiet when we visited on Black Friday in November, but we'd recommend booking in advance for the summer months. Plus, the beach is easily accessible.
