Samil Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 13th place out of 187 beaches in the Pontevedra region 27.1 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of Chandebrito settlement, just 5.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Samil Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Large parking spot is located directly on the beach.

I'm giving this beach 4 stars because it's a great spot for a day out - the sand, sea, view and facilities are all top notch. There are plenty of amenities for kids, like playgrounds, showers and even a pool. The only downside is that it can get quite busy at times.

That place wasn't very impressive compared to other Galician beaches. The water is too dirty to swim in, but it's still suitable for sunbathing. There are also small parks nearby, and basic amenities such as toilets and showers are available. If you're looking for a nicer beach experience, it's probably better to go to Cangas or somewhere else.
