Half Moon Beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 33th place out of 105 beaches in the Jamaica region 127.7 km away from its center, the city of Kingston. It is one of the beaches of Barrett Town settlement, just 5.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
