This campsite is a great spot to park your caravan or pitch your tent, and it comes with a range of amenities such as bars, showers, bathrooms, and a playground. Plus, it's situated right by the sea and surrounded by a stunning pine forest.

While camping amidst a vast pine forest, I discovered a serene and invigorating environment. What sets this place apart is the black sand, a result of the ancient extinct volcano of Roccamonfina. A dip in the sea felt like a direct immersion into the forest, an experience that was truly remarkable. The camping prices were quite reasonable and the managers were courteous and efficient. I would have given this place a perfect 5-star rating, but unfortunately the municipality has neglected to maintain basic infrastructure such as roads, signs, and upkeep of the Garigliano river delta.

The campsite may be simple, but the location is absolutely stunning. Nestled in a pine forest right on a gorgeous sandy beach, you'll have the whole place to yourself with only the sound of the waves and birds for company. While the sanitary facilities could use a bit of an update, they are still clean. However, the breathtaking surroundings more than make up for any lack of luxury. The prices are also very reasonable, and I can't wait to come back again. 😍
