A delightful spot for camping with tents, offering ample space between each site. The restroom facilities were tidy, though it's worth noting that toilet paper was not provided. The reception desk was open around the clock, which is a convenience. Regrettably, the beach is marred by significant pollution.
This beachfront campground is impeccably maintained and boasts a charming little shop and eatery. Make sure to stop by the restaurant and meet the incomparable Diego, who sets the standard for warmth and graciousness! The menu is full of delectable options, but the fish dishes are particularly noteworthy. Thank you so much, and we can't wait to come back!
The beach boasts cozy and shaded spots, but unfortunately, parking near it is not allowed and cars must be parked in a designated area near the restaurant. Communication with the reception staff can be difficult as they have limited English proficiency. Across the street, there is a beach available, but it is necessary to rent an umbrella to enjoy Lilanda's private beach. The campsite also offers access to a lake, but swimming is prohibited. The bathrooms are basic but tidy, although soap and toilet paper are not provided, which is typical in Italy. To access hot water for showers, a token worth 50 eurocents must be purchased. However, if a token is not inserted, the hot water will not flow, resulting in long lines for the cold showers. The market is poorly stocked, and the restaurant serves mediocre food. The campsite observes a siesta time, during which loud noises and car movement are not allowed, and visitors comply with this rule. The campsite has a unique atmosphere that we enjoyed, and the highlight of our stay was the stunning beach. The management is efficient, and they take care of the trash every day.
This location is situated right by the ocean and offers a plethora of opportunities to explore the mountain and some ancient ruins, such as Paola's Castle. Visitors can bask in the beauty of the beach and even enjoy a delightful picnic by the lake on the camping grounds. The restrooms are well-maintained and hygienic, and hot water showers are available for a nominal fee of 50 cents. The staff is incredibly warm and hospitable, adding to the overall charm of this place. The beach itself is truly breathtaking and will leave you in awe.
The cost of this beach is much too high for the amenities provided, as there is no access to wifi or hot water for showering. Additionally, the noise level is a major issue, with cars coming and going late at night and some guests hosting loud parties until the early hours of the morning, without any consideration for those who are trying to sleep. The only redeeming qualities of this location are the beach and nearby lake, but I would not choose to stay here again.
