Before our visit, we had heard nothing but positive reviews about this stunning slice of paradise. So on a sunny Sunday, we decided to take a break from the usual lido under the house routine and bring our 3-year-old son to experience something new. The beach is strategically situated in a small gulf along the Scauri coast, protected on two sides by breakwater barriers that ensure there are no undertow currents, making it an incredibly safe space for children. The combination of its location, warm hospitality, and exceptional cuisine (which boasts a variety of creative fish-based dishes) is what sets Lido Tirreno apart from other beaches. Needless to say, we will definitely be returning.
The Lido of Scauri is a place steeped in history and offers an exceptional culinary experience with a talented pizza maker. The pizza dough is left to rise for a remarkable 80 hours resulting in a truly delicious pizza. The Pizza alla Cilentana is a standout dish featuring succulent white Cilento figs. However, this delightful treat is only available during the summer months.
The beach is expansive, and the presence of cliffs creates a serene environment that is perfect for children. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with a veranda that overlooks the sea. The dishes are made using fresh ingredients and are bursting with flavor. The wood-fired oven produces an exceptional pizza that is not to be missed. The price-quality ratio of the restaurant is unbeatable.
The shoreline is efficiently arranged, providing recreational spaces suitable for all ages. However, the distance between each umbrella is quite limited. The dining establishment serves delectable dishes, including mouth-watering pizzas. The personnel are friendly, but their organization skills could use some improvement. The chambers are cozy, although they lack proper air conditioning.
The beach is sandy and is perfect for families.
