The beach is lovely, with an eastern exposure that provides stunning sunrise views. While the town seems to cater mostly to tourists, there are still plenty of open areas to enjoy along the entire length of the beach.
This beach is a fantastic spot to cool off with a refreshing swim after a lengthy stroll. Additionally, the beach is unique in that it features gray sand and pebbles.
The beach has gray sand with pebbles, but it is still a nice and clean place to spend a relaxing day.
This beach is lovely, featuring a mix of sand, gravel, and small rocks. There are also some taverns nearby where you can grab some food and drinks. It's far enough away from the overcrowded tourist spots, making it a very peaceful and relaxing spot to spend your day. You can rent chairs and parasols, or use them for free if you order something from the tavern. The sea is calm and perfect for swimming. Overall, it's a great spot to experience the beauty of Crete without the crowds of other tourist destinations.
The beach is quite pleasant with a rocky terrain and not many people around. On the left side, there are some restaurants available. Down by the beach, you can find loungers and umbrellas, but I'm not sure about the prices since we opted to stay on the right side under the trees. In the evening, it's an excellent spot for snorkeling and observing fish hunting, and you might even spot rare creatures like larger crabs. However, it's advisable to wear aqua shoes as the rocks can be slippery. If you head further up, you can relax on the sandy area. Unfortunately, if there are waves, you won't be able to snorkel near the shore; you'll have to swim out a bit.
