Xerokampos beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 39th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 57.7 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Xerokampos settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

This sandy beach is truly remarkable. The entry into the water is effortless and the sand is soft to the touch. The water remains shallow for quite some time, making it perfect for a relaxing swim. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the beach. While there are umbrellas available for a fee of 10 Eur, there are no other services on the beach. However, a nearby restaurant can deliver snacks and drinks to the beach for your convenience. The drive to the beach is an experience in itself, with stunning views along the way. Parking is available on the road above the beach, making it easily accessible.

This beach is absolutely stunning. The sand is golden and fine, making it perfect for lounging and relaxing. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The beach is truly exceptional and deserves a rating of 7 stars. The water is reminiscent of the Indian Ocean with its crystal clarity and the sand is a beautiful white. For a mere 10€, you can rent a pair of sunbeds and an umbrella, and even enjoy catering service from a nearby restaurant. Despite being a high season, the beach was not crowded and we arrived at 10:30 am, giving us the luxury of choosing our preferred sunbed. Additionally, if you're a fan of scenic drives, the route to the beach by car is already a sight to behold.

Although it may be a bit far off the beaten path, this beach is all the more enchanting for it. It's an ideal spot for families with young children, as well as for couples of all ages. The water is shallow and warm, and the beach itself is long and spacious enough to accommodate all who visit - which is typically not too many people. Those in need of shade can rent umbrellas on site, and hungry beach-goers can order food and drinks at extremely reasonable prices. We highly recommend trying the Crettan Hamburger - it's truly a must-try dish. Don't miss out on the chance to visit this wonderful beach.
