Tent beach is located on the Sea of Crete (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 327th place out of 478 beaches in the Crete region 58.4 km away from its center, the city of Kastelli. It is one of the beaches of Itanou settlement, just 3.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

The presence of a trailer park on the beach detracts from its natural beauty. Although the location is stunning, some visitors may feel uncomfortable due to the trailers occupying a significant portion of the area. It's unfortunate that this limits access for other beachgoers. If the trailers were situated further away, this would greatly improve the overall experience and earn a 5-star rating.
