Thalassa beach is located on the South Euboean Gulf (part of Aegean Sea) and it is in the 76th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 146.2 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Nireos Beach settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Visited Thalassa Restaurant a few times. Nice beach. Gets a little busy but anywhere the locals go is sure to be great. Good service. Great food. You can stay there all day and have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great little spot.

They have great traditional cousine. We had the chicken with ocra at 8.5$. good value for money. Satisfactory portions and quality. They offer watermelon for free after your meal. Edit: the 2nd day we had excellent calamari with rice

Overall the comment is average. I would start saying that if you proceed from a Greek Island in the Dodecanese the benchmark is high standard, and then you land here in Evia, so it's difficult to recalibrate the standards. Good points: -the beach has showers and shadow a part from the umbrellas, unfortunately is quite dirty, the restaurant is not guilty for that -the food was average but compared to what we have experienced in the area becomes good -the view and the shadow under the trees and the proper nice distance of the table and the nice breeze that is present every day was really good Points that could be improved: -the service, you have to be patient and not too hungry to wait to be attended and to be served
