Atálantos beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 256th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 99.9 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Pili settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

One can embark on a delightful canoe journey from the primary beach, spanning a mere half hour. However, a 4x4 vehicle is mandatory for those who prefer to drive. Regrettably, the presence of litter on the shore may be attributed to the forceful tides, leaving one feeling uninspired by the location as a whole.

Accessing the beach requires a vehicle with high clearance or a 4x4 due to the rough and rocky road that spans over 5 kilometers. The road conditions are less than ideal and can be quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the beach itself is not very pleasant, emitting an unpleasant odor that makes it one of the worst I have visited. However, the natural scenery surrounding the beach is breathtaking, though it is marred by the presence of litter.
