Daphnopótamos beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 76th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 95.8 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Fourni settlement, just 2.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and gray fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

The road leading to the beach is not suitable for regular cars; a 4-wheel drive vehicle is necessary. The beach itself lacks proper maintenance and lacks any amenities such as showers, toilets, or changing rooms. However, the water is remarkably clear, and the location offers a sense of seclusion, making it perfect for those seeking solitude.

The beach can only be accessed with a 4WD vehicle, otherwise, you'll have to park your car about 1km away uphill, maybe even farther. Unfortunately, there is quite a lot of garbage, not directly in front of the beach but further back. It's a real dump, we even spotted a toilet bowl. I'm curious why the municipality isn't concerned about this. However, there are definitely water and food supplies available. But we were able to overlook these issues because of the stunning sea and the untamed beauty of the location... and the complete tranquility it offered!
