Saliara beach is located on the Thrace Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 7th place out of 185 beaches in the Thrace region 68.7 km away from its center, the city of Komotini. It is one of the beaches of Chrysi Ammoudia settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and white fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

This beach is truly amazing! Although it can be a bit of a trek to get there, the destination is well worth it. The natural beauty of this place is truly awe-inspiring and it's incredible to see how Mother Nature has crafted such a stunning landscape. However, it was quite crowded and finding a peaceful spot to relax was a bit of a challenge. Despite this, we plan to visit again soon and will make sure to arrive earlier to fully enjoy all that this beach has to offer.

The beach offers of its stunning beauty with crystal clear water that is shallow, warm, and adorned in a mesmerizing turquoise blue hue. One can easily spot pieces of marble scattered all over the beach, which adds to its unique charm. The tranquil atmosphere of the beach is truly captivating and leaves everyone spellbound. The small and secluded nature of the beach makes it a perfect spot for those seeking peace and relaxation. However, the narrow road leading to the beach can be a bit challenging as cars go in both directions. Despite this, the journey is worth it, and it is recommended to arrive early to avoid crowds.

Furthermore, the restroom facilities are located a distance of 250-300m away. The cost per individual is 12.5€, which encompasses a complimentary coffee or beverage. The view merits a five-star rating.

My experience at the beach was far from satisfactory. The stones present on the beach are not of marble and seem artificial, lacking the natural charm that one expects. The staff at the beach was quite unwelcoming and didn't permit visitors to carry their own beverages. Additionally, the showers were charged at a rate of 0.50 EUR, which seemed unreasonable. Moreover, the toilet was situated quite far away, which made it inconvenient for visitors.
