Agios Ioannis beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 367 beaches in the Central Macedonia region 81.4 km away from its center, the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the beaches of Nikiti settlement, just 4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Agios Ioannis beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

I really enjoy this beach. It's not too crowded and there's free parking. The water is crystal clear and very clean. There's a new 5-star hotel that provides chairs and umbrellas, but we didn't use them. I'm not sure if they're free or only for hotel guests.

This beach is a delightful and cozy spot, boasting a generously sized parking lot nearby. The water is crystal clear, and the seabed is bedecked with small pebbles. While a portion of the beach is reserved for the hotel complex and comes with umbrellas and sunbeds, the rest of the beach is open and spacious enough to bring your own parasol. Even in September, the beach was not overcrowded, and there was ample space for everyone, including a few areas with natural shade. It is definitely worth a visit, as the hotel complex is expanding, and the beach may soon become entirely private.

The beach is advertised as good, but there are a few issues. You can't enter directly from the road due to the hotel complex's ramp gate with guards, so take the next turn that goes around the complex and leads to the opposite end of the beach. The entrance gate is unlocked, however. There is a nice cliff for taking photos, and several trees provide shade. However, there is a lot of debris from the sea and trees on the sand, and the sea was a bit rough with murky water due to the waves. All in all, it's not exceptional, but it's not terrible either.

The beach near Nikiti is both lovely and well-maintained, boasting ample parking for visitors. The water is crystal-clear and the ocean is pristine. For those interested in diving, there is a small island and rocky outcropping to explore by heading to the right. I highly recommend this beach!
